Peter and Candace Sotropa purchased the Electric Race Car, Light Switch, this year, and are very proud of Layton Kraus, for officially setting the world record for the fastest time for a junior racer in the 1/8 mile, for a 72-volt electric drag racer, with a time of 9.91 seconds and 9.97 seconds on Sept. 15 at Medicine Hat. This is the first year they have raced this car and the results have been very good.  You can read more about this article in the Weyburn Review on October 31, 2012.

The 2013 calendar for the NEDRA is now out and the car Light Switch is the feature car for June 2013.  You can learn more about the The National Electric Drag Racing Association (NEDRA) on their website.

If you would like to learn more about the Pangman’s Duo racing story and events, be sure to visit their website at Light Switch Racing.
