Two local powerlifters were in Calgary competing in the 2014 Western Canadian Powerlifting Championships, recently. The competition had many athletes participating and lots of cheering spectators. The girls are coached by Ryan Fowler.

Our very own Brittinay Rowland, a member of Team Saskatchewan, competed at the National Powerlifting Event which was held in Calgary, the week of April 10th, 2012. Brittinay broke three national records: Squat 275 lbs, bench press 115.5 lbs, and dead lift 313.5 lbs.
Brittinay Rowland competed at the Weyburn Open Powerlifting Competition on Sunday, Feb. 12, 2012. At this level she broke 2 Provincial Records; squat at 220 lbs and bench press at 110 lbs. She also broke a National Record; dead lift at 275 lbs.
Brittinay has qualified and will compete with Team Saskatchewan at the National Event being held in Calgary, the week of April 10th, 2012.
Brittinay has been training with Mr. Ryan Fowler (former Pangman Principal) since October, and has done extremely well in the sport.
