Pangman Days Pancake Breakfast & Farmers Market

On Saturday, August 7th, as part of Pangman Days, the Economic Development Board hosted a Pancake Breakfast from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. About 60 people attended the breakfast.

As well the Farmer’s Market was held from 9:00 a.m. to noon. The vendors had a variety of items for sale including books, crafts, household items, jewellery and more. Thank you to the vendors and the buyers who came out to the Farmer’s Market.

Thank you to everyone who helped to make Pangman Days a success once again this year.

Community BBQ a Huge Success!!

As part of Pangman Days this year we held a Community BBQ in the Gazebo Park to welcome new residents to our district. We had a good turnout with about 100 people attending. There was a variety of salads and desserts provided by the community and delicious burgers, hot dogs, buns and drinks provided by our sponsors.

Our Mayor introduced the many new residents who have moved to our district over the past few years.  A couple, who are currently cycling across Canada to live in Vancouver, had stopped in for the night and they enjoyed the hospitality and friendliness of our community.

A good time was had by all.

Thank you again to our sponsors: Pangman Co-op, Grainbelt Agencies, Bourassa’s, Radius Credit Union, RM of Norton, Oasis, and Kathy’s Place.
