On Friday, March 18th the Official Introduction of the Rural West Primary Health Care program for the area was held at the Bengough Health Centre.

In attendance was Sharon Bauche-Chair person of SUN Country Health District and members of the Primary Health Care Team: Dr. Oberholzer, Nurse Practitioner Laura Wood, Home Care, Dietitian, Pharmacist & Facility Manager.

The Rural West Primary Health Care team will be providing Primary Health Care to communities in Rural South West Saskatchewan. Community meetings were held during November and December 2010 in Bengough, Gladmar, Ogema and Radville. The Rural West team met with 141 community members in the 4 communities.

This team of health care professions will be holding clinics in communities in the Rural West Saskatchewan, including Pangman. This is good news for our Health Centre.

There is information about the Team’s meetings on the communication boards in the Bengough and Pangman Health Centres.
