The annual meeting of the Recreation Board was held on Saturday, March 27th, 2010 at the Community Center.

The new executive of the Recreation Board are:

• President – Patti Klippenstine
• Vice-President – Merlin Broughton
• Secretary – Pam Rowland
• Treasure – Wayne Lozinski

If you would like to learn more about the Recreation Board, they meet the 2nd Tuesday of every month. The next meeting of the Recreation Board is on Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at 7:30 p.m. at the Community Center.

The Recreation Board would like to remind everyone that they are available to cater events in our community, whether it be a funeral, reunion, or graduation.

Even though it was extremely cold out on Friday, January 8th, about 10 people showed up for our first Shuffleboard/Pool night at the Community Centre.

We will be having a Shuffleboard/Pool Night every Friday night at 7 p.m. at the Community Centre. The cost is $3.00 to play shuffleboard,darts and pool. Pop and chips for sale and free coffee!!

We hope to see you out at our next Shuffleboard/Pool night on January 15th.

Shuffleboard/Pool night at the Pangman Community Centre starts on  Friday, Jan 8th at 7 p.m.  and every Friday after.

Fees are undetermined but will be minimal.

Come out and enjoy an evening of fun, sponsored by the Pangman Rec Board.  Coffee will be on!

On Friday, October 23, 2009 was our annual Fall Supper. We had a wonderful turnout  with about 180 people attending.

The evening was coupled with the Wall of Fame recipients being honoured.  This years inductees were Ewart Hone and Tom Webb, who were given the much deserved award.  Congratulations to both.

We would like to thank all those who helped out at the Fall Supper, who cooked the food, and who donated towards the cost of the food.

The Wall of Fame Induction will take place on Friday, October 23rd, immediately following the last session of the Fall Supper, at the Pangman United Church.

This year the inductees are: Ewart Hone and Tom Webb.

The Fall Supper is slated for Friday October 23rd, 2009  at the United Church in Pangman.  The price is $9.00 per person and children 10 & under is $5.00.

This year there will be 2 setting, one at 5:00 p.m. and another at 6:00 p.m.  We hope that by having 2 setting this will help to avoid a wait in line.

We have put up sign up sheets at the Co-op Store for each setting and would ask that you sign in for your preferred time.
