Computer Classes at Pangman School

Computer Classes start on Tuesday, February 16th at 7:00 p.m. at Pangman School. Mr. Fitzpatrick will be the instructor/teacher.  We are working towards 4-6 class times @ 2 hours minimum per night. There is no charge for these classes.

This is for any one interested in learning the computer.

Community Town Hall Meeting!!

The Community Town Hall Meeting will be held at the Pangman School gym on February 13, 2010 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Lunch will be provided by the Deep South Personal Care Home Ladies Auxiliary at a price of $6.00 per person.

This meeting is being hosted by the Village of Pangman, The R.M. of Norton and the Economic Development Board. Everyone in the community and area is invited to attend the meeting.

Pancake Breakfast Hosted by Economic Development Board!

The Economic Development Board will be hosting a Pancake Breakfast at the Community Center on  Saturday January 30th, Saturday February 27th and March 27th from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. – $6.00 per person.

The Economic Development Board is looking for volunteers to help out at the breakfasts.  Contact Eileen at 442-2145 if you can help out at one of the breakfasts.

Last Farmer’s Market Held October 31, 2009

This morning was the last Farmer’s Market for this year in Pangman. There was a pancake breakfast from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and the Farmer’s Market was from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.

There was a great turnout for the pancake breakfast. They had to set up tables in the back room of the Community Center so everyone could have their breakfast.

Today we had vendors selling various items, including: books, crafts, ornaments, salsa, beef jerky, homemade bread, buns and more.

The Economic Development Board would like to thank all the Vendors who have particiapted in the Farmer’s Market and hope that many will come back next year. Also, they would like to thank all those who attending the Farmer’s Market during the summer.

The Vendors would like to thank all the customers for their patronage. We hope to see many of you next summer.

October 31st is the Final Farmer’s Market of this Year!

On Saturday, October 31st, will be the final Farmer’s Market of this year.

We would like to thank all the vendor’s who have participated week after week.

As our grand finale for the Farmer’s Market, we will be having a breakfast at the Community Centre from 8 to 10 a.m.

Come for coffee and breakfast and be sure to check out the Vendor’s tables.

Volunteers are needed to help cook and clean up. If you can help, please contact Connie or Eileen. Help is always appreciated and there is usually lots of fun to be had.

We hope to see you there at the breakfast and the final Farmer’s Market for this year.

Farmer’s Market – Saturday, October 3, 2009

Due to the cooler weather today, the Farmer’s Market was held indoors at the Community Center. We had a good turn out of Vendors, and a variety of products for buyers to purchase, including books, crafts, vegetables, baked bread & buns, and more.

The Farmer’s Market will be held every Saturday until the end of October from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. If the weather is inclement it will be held in the Community Center.

We hope to see your there.

Farmer’s Market – Saturday, September 19, 2009

The Farmer’s Market has been held every Saturday since late June. Every Saturday we have had a good turn out of Vendors and Buyers.

On Saturday, September 19th, we had a very good turnout. About 10 or more vendors set up at the market attracting many buyers.

Buyers had a wide selection of products to choose from: fresh vegetables, homemade jam and syrup, homemade bread and deserts, puppies, books, crafts and more.
